What this warning means and why it appeared

Scam sites can leave cookies that keep a stolen session alive.

Chrome, Brave, Edge
Press Ctrl Shift Delete (⌘ Shift Delete on Mac), choose “Last 24 hours”, tick Cookies, then delete.
Firefox
Same shortcut, choose “Today”, tick Cookies, then clear.
Safari
History › Clear History, choose “today and yesterday”, then clear.

Scam tools (snipers, trackers, anti-bot or “human check” pages) ask you to drag a button to your bookmarks bar. That bookmark, called a bookmarklet, runs code on fomo and hands over your login.

  • Delete any bookmark another site asked you to add, even if you dragged it there yourself.
  • Look for addresses starting with javascript:.
  • Tell us which site asked at support@fomo.family and we’ll investigate.

Keep a browser profile just for fomo and the account you log in with. No other sites and no extensions, so nothing else can reach your fomo session.
