fomo raises $75M Series B led by Index Ventures

fomo is building the first accessible, global trading application. To accelerate our mission, we closed a $75 million Series B led by Index Ventures, with strong participation from Union Square Ventures and our existing investor, Benchmark.

We are on the precipice of the largest financial revolution since trading was computerized in the 1970s. Over the following decades, trading on the NYSE, NASDAQ, and other legacy exchanges became entirely digital.

A similar revolution is happening today. Blockchain networks are global from day one and fully transparent, enabling social experiences that were never possible in traditional finance applications. Financial assets are moving on-chain, and entirely new asset classes are being born, yet most of the world's consumers still lack access to these nascent financial products.

fomo is the first on-chain trading app built for the rest of us. On fomo, everything is abstracted away. See what anyone is buying and holding in real time, build your financial identity, and grow a following.

Since our launch a year ago, more than 625,000 people have joined fomo, completing over $4 billion in trading volume and generating more than 110 million unique social interactions. Additionally, more than 68,000 users have purchased crypto for the very first time using fomo via Apple Pay, totaling $25 million.
